1. The central service goes on your own server
MonBuddy’s central service receives and stores computer data. It can run on a dedicated local Windows server or a suitable computer managed by your own administrator. Detailed data is not forwarded from there to an external cloud.
2. Connect the Windows computers
The administrator installs MonBuddy on the computers to be monitored. The program automatically finds the local server, starts in the background and restarts after a failure. Windows is currently supported; macOS and Linux versions are not yet available.
3. Open the overview in a browser
Authorised users sign in with local accounts, which can also be protected with two-factor authentication (2FA). You can separately control who sees live images, manages users or settings, or accesses summaries only.
What do you need to get started?
You need an always-available local Windows server or suitable computer, a local network, Windows workstations and an administrator to perform the installation. The interface is available in Hungarian, English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.
